About Race Ultra
How to use the Race Ultra App once you’ve downloaded from the Play Store or Apple Store

Once you’ve downloaded the app, you’ll set-up your profile, with your name, contact information, username, and password. Set up your preferences in distance, whether imperial or metric, kilometres or miles, each account can be tailored to everyone’s individual preferences.

CREATE - Your adventure starts here!

Search through the database of registered events already created by our experienced team and load it into your profile. If you can’t find the event you’re looking for or just have an idea for your own unique adventure, create a new event. Add the event name, start date, time and event type then create to save it to your list.

PLAN - Time to get into the detail!

From the home page of the App, select an event to start the detailed planning. Add checkpoints, distances, pacing strategies, cut-off times and more to ensure your event runs smoothly and efficiently. Fill the gear list with mandatory gear, nutrition and drop bag items so you know where to find it when you need it most. Add a crew chief and crew members to support you on your adventure with the crew page. Chat with your crew to make sure you nail down all the important stuff and everyone is on the same page before race day.

Drop bag items are essentially items you prepack with gear (e.g. spare shoes, nutrition, etc) and leave with the race organisers at check in.

You can have several drop bags depending on the length of the race and they’re taken to nominated checkpoints. When you get to the checkpoint you access your drop bag, use whatever you need out of it, and leave it there.

RACE - Now the real fun starts!

When the race starts, the race clock will keep on track and provide accurate check-in and check-out times and actual pace calculations.

As the race progresses, the planned time will automatically adjust based actual times, so you have an accurate forecast of when you are expected at different check points and the finish line.

Tick off items in your gear list as you pass through a checkpoint to be confident you have what you need to attack on the next section of course. Your crew can access the data live as you race through your ultra-adventure and communicate through crew chat. Any distance, formats and 50kms to ultra marathon up to 400.

There's a world of Ultra Marathons to get involved with
We've put together a guide on some of our favourity Ultra Marathon events

Once you’ve registered for an Ultra Marathon, the next thing to do is organise how you’re going to plan for it prior to the race commencing, so you have a plan of attack for things you may need during your race.

As you complete each day of your race, you can go back to the App to adjust times, add additional information or pit stops, including any extra snacks you may need to pack.
